アメリカでの武者修行中、日本人初のソロアコースティックギタリストとしてアポロシアター「アマチュアナイト」に出演。国連本部での演奏や、グラミー賞歌手グレゴリー・ポーター氏が出演する公演のオープニング演奏を担当するなど、国際的な舞台で実績を積む。

ニューヨーク市MTA公認ライセンスを取得し、地下鉄構内でのパフォーマンスを通じて独自のスタイルを確立。スラップ、タッピング、ボディヒッティングを駆使したパーカッシブな奏法とエフェクターを融合させた、常識に捕らわれない唯一無二のサウンドを追求している。

現在は、ソロアコースティックギターレーベル「Sugarless Records」を主宰。アーティスト活動に加え、YAMAHA製品の機材デモンストレーターとしても活躍し、製作・ライブ・プロモーションを多角的に展開している。

 

During his musical training in the United States, he became the first Japanese solo acoustic guitarist to perform at the Apollo Theater’s “Amateur Night.” He has built a distinguished international career, including a performance at the United Nations Headquarters and serving as the opening act for a high-profile event featuring Grammy-winning vocalist Gregory Porter.

 

As an NYC MTA-licensed performer, he established his signature style through countless subway performances. His “one-of-a-kind” sound defies convention, blending percussive techniques—such as slapping, tapping, and body hitting—with innovative effects.

​Currently, he heads the solo acoustic guitar label “Sugarless Records.” In addition to his solo career, he serves as a gear demonstrator for YAMAHA, actively engaging in music production, live performance, and multi-faceted promotion.
